Commissions are welcomed.
One of the most enjoyable parts of being Seekonk Woodworking is collaborating with clients on one-of-a-kind commissions. My approach is to work with the client so I can understand what they want from a standpoint of function, dimensions and style. What follows is a two-way design process. My goal is to make a piece to your specifications (wood type and color, dimensions, design details, etc.). In developing a proposal, I aim for complete transparency regarding the impact of choosing various options on the price. Cost ultimately depends on the complexity of the piece and cost of materials, but there are many options in designing a piece. I start each process confident that the end result will be something that will be special but within the range of your pocketbook. Only half jokingly, I’ve told more than one client that I offer heirloom quality at Ikea prices.
