Fine Art Furnishings is a collaboration between painter Mary Jane Andreozzi and Phil Gruppuso (Seekonk Woodworking). Most pieces start with a piece of wood that lends itself to a particular application — a table top or doors for a cabinet or drawer fronts. Once the piece is built, Mary Jane, inspired by the natural forms, the wood tones and the design, uses acrylic washes to enhance the work and transform it into a piece of fine art furniture. Then the piece comes back to Phil for finishing and installation of any hardware. All pieces are one-of-a-kind. We welcome commissions.
This three drawer chest features drawer fronts decorated with acrylic wash. The case is constructed from cherry and measures 8-1/2” tall, 15” wide and 11”deep. The three felt-lined drawers offer ample room for jewelry or any other collectable.
